Dinner in the hotel was good.
The really depressing colour schemes in our room which were purple and grey. We found the bedroom a particularly depressing place to sleep. There was only one floor open in January and there was obviously a skeleton staff. We did not feel catered for sufficiently well considering the hotel is designated four stars. Breakfast was a very dismal affair in a canteen styled room.

The hotel had a beautiful and scenic location, with stunning sea views from the rooms. The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring a pleasant stay. The hotel was very clean and well-maintained, creating a comfortable and enjoyable environment for guests. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, providing a relaxing retreat after a long day of work.
The limited availability of amenities in the rooms, such as no tea or coffee making facilities. the absence of English TV channels was a disappointment.

New & good hotel near pebbly beach. Very nice and helpful staff. Clean and comfortable rooms with a lovely seaview.
Too laud sound from neighbouring bathrooms (flushing and flowing water in bathtube). Breakfast could be a little better (poor choice).

Very helpful staff and a high level of cleanliness throughout the entire hotel. Also a nice but small pool.
The only annoyance is that its position on Google maps is wrong, it is a further 10 minute walk round the coast.

The hotel is far away from anywhere, no shops, bars, anything. Very difficult to park and the road to arrive and leave the hotel is very unsafe. I would not recommend this hotel.

Quite honestly very little to like. Overprized! We have been travelling throughout Spain for almost three months and using Booked.net as our reservation site and this one was a real disappointment. I would give it maybe a two Star in all aspects. It begins when you must drag your bags up a full flight of stairs to find that after checking in you must do this again in order to reach an elevator (very antique elevator!). Not enough room to swing a cat in the room!. On top there was a horrible figth in the middle of the night with glass crashing from upstairs.. It is hard to get a bad cup of coffee in Spain but not here! The cafeteria (no bar nor restaurant service) serves coffee out of a jug...no choices either for breakfast and this is the only time they're open! Must review the rating for this place......As for the views well...how about everyone's laundry when there is water all around you? Incredible!
No bar, no restaurant, small rooms, no views what so ever. No service!

Very friendly staff and super food in the restaurant.
We had difficulty finding the hotel from the map provided on your web site. Thought it was in the middle of Almunecar and spent at least an extra hour and a half trying to fiind it. We did not realise it was right at the far end of the bay towards Herradura. We rang the hotel but they were very vague and didn't give us any help. Eventually we got a map of Almunecar from an estate agent and were able to locate the Playa Cotobro area. We did not have sat nav which would have been helpful, in this case! We also think we may have paid twice. Once on your site and again in the hotel! Will check our account, first.

Our room was spacious.
Our room had a really poor view to a wall, therefore the room was very dark. The towels were ragged.
